Twenty three years ago, Galapagos Books was created by Susan Lindsey, serving the Rivertowns as a foreign language bookstore featuring the classics and novels in
over 20 languages. Today, owner and operator Amada Abad has expanded the
store inventory to feature adult fiction and nonfiction, teen novels, children's literature,
baby books, specialty toys and the work of local authors.
